Television Update
Sep. 16th, 2008 10:50 pmBecause I haven't really been doing anything else of use lately (up to and including homework), I wanted to give you all an assessment of the television I have seen over the past few days.
Firstly, this new season of House with Wilson's emotional trauma makes my heart hurt. I long for the old days of House and Wilson, when they annoyed the shit out of each other and still ended every episode looking like they wanted to snog on the couch after having a take-away. I don't like the new ducklings and I think Cameron's hair is stupid. Essentially, I don't think I'll keep watching this season. I don't want to spoil the happy memories of my House binge earlier this year. It wouldn't be right.
Secondly, baby (and by baby I mean 22 yr. old) David Tennant in the miniseries Takin' Over The Asylum is probably the cutest thing I have ever seen in my LIFE! *squishes him* He plays a manic depressive lad in a Scottish mental hospital who aspires to stardom as a Radio DJ. He sings, he dances, he plays guitar! He's like Dr. Who on uppers with a Scottish accent! I've only seen Episode 1 thus far (I LOVE IT), but I have high hopes for the rest as well. If you have a few hours to kill (ha!) I encourage you to look it up on YouTube.
Thirdly, apparently Crosby, Stills, and Nash made a television appearance on either the Daily Show or the Colbert Report the other day and I MISSED IT. *spirit tears* Could somebody please, please, please with a cherry on top find me a vid of this performance? I love this band so hard, you guys! I need them like baby!David Tennant needs mental help!
